Luke's of Mundelein: A Culinary Haven for Hot Dogs, Burgers, and More

This is the epitome of what I want from a fast food - Incredible food at an incredible value, nice clean atmosphere, clean inside and out. They clearly care about their customers here and my only regret is that I don’t live closer to visit more often!

No matter the location wherever you're at, you know you can always rely on Luke's for tasty Chicago style grub. This past February was the first time in maybe a year dining here and really missed it. There are Chicago style grills all over the Chicagoland area but they don't always hit the same. I've been to different Luke's locations and I can't say I've ever had anything that I didn't enjoy. Food is always hot & delicious at still fair prices, customer service is always friendly and dining room kept clean. Keep cookin' up that yummy grub and I'll keep coming back for more. I wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

My husband and I have been eating at Luke's for so long, that we used to go to the original tiny location that had different owners. As for this location, my husband ate here often enough to get a $5 off bonus several times. The last time I ate here was probably four years ago, while it may have been a year or more for him. The prices have increased significantly. The fries were excellent and the portion was indeed huge. The hamburger tasted like shoe leather - very overcooked and definitely not a quarter pound. McDonalds and Burger King have far better and less expensive burgers. The meal deal wasn't much of a deal, really. And the workers were constantly getting in the way, fiddling with things around the drink machine. Given my husband will no longer be working in Mundelein, this was likely our last visit.

Best Chicago style food we’ve gotten in the area in many years! Everything was fresh and delicious! Service was friendly and fast! Place was clean. Also nice option for decent seating outside; it is off RT45 so can be a bit noisy. The food is amazing and we will be back more often than not!

This is one of the best Italian beefs I've had in the suburbs! The beef is made and sliced here, with lots of flavor and OMG these guys aren't playing around! The portion size is at least twice of what I get on any other beef in the city! The french fry portions are also gigantic. You will not go hungry eating here!! Great bang for your buck with honest prices

Definitely Chicago style without the crime! Great food a lil on the greasy side but overall very good, made fresh on the spot. Inside has plenty of seating clean and kool atmosphere. Definitely hands down will be back but next time with my whole family. Ty Luke’s team for a GREAT lunch! I’ll spread the word and I hope this review helps as well

It has great classic chicago hot dogs. If you are in the area it is pretty good. They have a pretty classic flowing of customers. The fries are great as well. It's a total locals place, a little dingy with great food.

Had the hot dog special. All the food was really good. The fries were nice and hot. Have a great Chicago dog. And they have red cream soda. They used to have Green River on tap but now you can get it in the bottle
